A few items we tried were the Coffee Eye Serum (must have for those early mornings!), Face Serum,  and Body Butter in Harmony ( We are trying it next week).  At first I would like the say that the scents in the products are amazing.  The Essential oils used are not too overbearing, just the perfect amount.

Face Serum: My goodness I love this stuff, what I love about it is that you can use it as  a makeup primer !! ( Perfect for those Brides and Grads during this time) I love that is was quick to absorb into the skin and not a hot oily mess.  This made my skin super plump, hydrated and I had that healthy glow. When applied prior the foundation, the foundation worked like a dream as it did not have that ” piling effect” alot of primers have. This is a Must have!

Coffee Eye Serum: There are tons of ” eye rollers ” out on the market but nothing as amazing as this Coffee Eye Serum, I love the metal cold ball which gives off the cooling sensation. A little bit goes on a long way  I felt like I was constantly giving my self a eye massage .  Apply 2 times a day once in the morning and once at night and watch those puffy bags go away.  The caffeine also helps tighten any fines lines and reduces the puffiness around the eye. A win – win for all!

As all of their items are preservative free we suggest you put them in a cool place and use within 12 months of opening.  Happy Shopping! we look forward to trying  the rest of the line again!.  Should we carry some of these products in our lash studio? we would love to hear your opinions!

Tested and Reviewed Tarte Liquid Black Eye Liner

tarte

There are so many different types of ” black eye liners” from pencil, to kohl, gel pot, liquid, felt   and even shadow.  I recently went into Sephora and tried a felt black eye liner and absolutely fell in love with it.  I used to use the Stila All Day Water Proof Liner however it was not water proof at all.  Within about 4 hours I looked like a I had a bad smokey eye :(.  I also had tried the Kat Von D felt liner in ” trooper” however I felt that it too “wet” for me and did not try fast enough.  Lone and behold last week I picked up the ” Tarte Lights Camera Lashes Precision long wear liquid eye liner” (thumbs up for being Cruelty Free and paraben free too).  It claims it is long wearing and you can achieve a crisp line with the tip.  I absolutely love this product, it drys super fast, the felt is at a point and not at a angle and definitely is long wearing.  It lasted me all evening and this will be my go to for a while.  A little  Pro tip for you; Apply a primer as a base to increase the longevity of it =) Hope you enjoy! I have also provide a few  step by step tutorial I found online that you can use the liner for ~
